How to disable country redirection in Google

When you travel to another country, google redirect your request of its home page to google.xxx where xxx is the country code. google know the country you stay in using your ip address.

why google offer local domains version of google?

google use the custom domain of that country to help you find places and restaurants local in the country you stay in. for example if I go to jordan, i will be routed to google.jo. google will help you find places near you like gas stations and places.

How to disable and why?

if you would like to be on the main global domain of google to search for results related and located in the USA. you can use this trick

type Google.com/ncr

which means no country redirection. this will put you on the main page of google us.

if you find this helpful, please leave a comment. thanks.
